The Gilded Shadowing Experience
Our shadowing experience was developed to help fellow extensions artists learn our approach to hand tied extensions. We believe extensions are not one size fits all. Our founder and educator, Andrea Suarez, has trained and studied many different methods and has since adapted her own approach to hand tied extensions. We believe in experimenting and trying new techniques to always provide the most natural looking and safest extensions for our clients.
Your shadowing experience will be specifically tailored to you and your needs. Andrea will walk you through a typical extension’s appointment. During this appointment, you will get a behind the scenes look into our approach to luxe color and extensions. This is best suited for stylists that already have experience in hand tied extensions and are just looking to refine their technique or business.
Shadowing Day will include the following:
30 minute onboarding call. This call will be via Zoom and you will have a chance to discuss what your goals and pain points are behind the chair. This will allow Andrea to make sure that your day is tailored to you and your needs.
30 minute morning introduction on shadowing day. At this time Andrea will show you around the salon and answer any additional questions you may have before the appointment begins.
Consultation
Custom Coloring Client’s natural hair along with custom coloring extensions (May be a maintenance appointment or a new install. Both appointments are equally important in our opinion)
One row new install or reinstall
Style, cut (new install only) and after photos
Lunch and Q&A with Andrea
One 30 minute follow up call via Zoom
** Shadowing days are solo or can be up to a small group of 4
